Ingredients
7 1/2 cups of milk
1/8 tsp of kosher salt
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
4 tbsp of brown sugar
29 oz can of peaches in light syrup drained and juice reserved
2 cups of steel cut oatmeal
Preparations
1. Spray the insert of a slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray, then add the steel cut oats. Add the peaches with liquid into the slow cooker
2. Alternatively, first strain the liquid into the crock pot and chop the peaches into bite small pieces.
3. Add the cinnamon, salt and brown sugar, gently mix into the mixture.
4. Gently mix in the milk.
5. Cook with the lid on for 5 to 6 hours or overnight on LOW.
