Breakfast Egg & Sausage

Ingredients

(Optional) 1/4 tsp of dry mustard

2 cups of low-fat milk

1 cup of shredded cheese, reduced fat

1 cup of all-purpose baking mix

6 large eggs

1 lbs of bulk turkey breakfast sausage, remove casings

Preparations

1. Spray a non-stick cooking spray on the insert of a 2-4 Quart slow cooker.

2. Add the sausage into a nonstick skillet, cook and brown the sausage, breaking up the chunks. Drain off any excess grease well.

3.  Stir the milk, cheese, baking mix, egg, sausage and mustard together in a large bowl until finely combined.

4. Transfer the egg mix into the prepared crock pot.

5. Cook with the lid on for 1 hour on HIGH and then, cook about 1-3 hours more on LOW until cooked through in the center.

5. Remove lid, let stand about 10 minutes. To serve, cut into 8 wedges.
