Slow Cooker Turkey Parmigiana Meatloaf

Ingredients

1/4 cup of fat free mozzarella cheese shredded

2 tsp of dried Italian seasoning

1 cup of marinara sauce, halved

3 tbsp. of egg substitute

1 cup of parmesan cheese grated

1 cup of plain bread crumbs

2 lbs (99% fat free) of ground turkey

Preparations

1.  Mix the ground Turkey, 1/2 cup marinara sauce, egg, bread crumbs, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese together in a bowl with your hands until well combined.

2. Place meat mixture in the base of a 5-6 quart oval slow cooker and shape loaf like.

3. Stream the reserved marinara sauce over the top.

4. Cook with the lid on LOW for 4 – 6 hours or on HIGH 2 – 3 hours.

5. Towards the final 10 minutes of cooking, add mozzarella cheese, cover and cook until the cheese melt.

6. Serve along some crusty bread and Caesar salad. Enjoy!
