Ingredients
2 tbsp of corn starch
1 tbsp of grated fresh ginger
6 minced garlic cloves
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of hoisin sauce
8 boneless medium to thick cut pork chops
Preparations
1. Arrange the pork chops at the base of a 6-7 quart slow cooker.
2. Combine the ginger, garlic, brown sugar and hoisin sauce in a small mixing bowl until combined.
3. Pour the mixture in the slow cooker, over the pork chops and spread evenly using a spatula to coat each pork chops.
4. Cook with the lid on for 4 to 5 hours on HIGH.
5. Pour the cooking liquid without the pork chops into small saucepan.
6. Keep the pork chops warn in the slow cooker, using the WARM setting.
7. Over medium-high heat, heat the saucepan containing the cooking liquid and bring to a simmer.
8. Mix 4 tbsp of cold water with 2 tbsp of corn starch together in a small bowl until no lumps forms to make a thick slurry.
9. Gently Whisk the thicken slurry into the saucepan and whish while cooking, about 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
10. Pour some thickened sauce over each pork chops and enjoy.
