To win his mate, he'll have to put his foot down.
Anita is tickled pink when billionaire Frank Wilson picks her little bakery to provide desserts for The Wet and Wild Charity Gala. But what was supposed to be the opportunity of a lifetime turns into the storm of a century.
Flamingo shifter and philanthropist, Frank has been going through life like one of his own clockwork sculptures, not sure of his purpose until he meets the plucky baker who captures his heart and assumes he's a janitor. Trapped together with his fated mate in a big, empty (possibly haunted) event hall with two thousand gourmet cupcakes and no power, Frank is sure that nothing could stand between him and his ultimate happiness.
The only problem is, she's not interested in completing his flock…
…and they aren't alone in the building.

I love to do harmless April Fool’s Day pranks, and I made this cover for my readers, even going so far as to make a book blurb and fake Amazon book preview image for Facebook.
But the joke was on me and this, of all of the books I had planned, was the one I had the most readers clamoring for!
I swore I wasn’t writing it, but shared sneak previews and excerpts with my readers and I finished released it as a surprise on April 1 the following year. You can read it here!
If you would like to read snippets of the sequels I’m very definitely not writing, you’ll have to sign up for my mailing list or join my Reader’s Retreat at Facebook!
