CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE
1 cup chopped Georgia pecans
1 9-inch piecrust
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup light Karo syrup (or similar corn syrup)
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375°. Spread the pecans over the piecrust. In a bowl mix the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, flour, salt, vanilla, and chocolate chips. Pour over the pecans and bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until set.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
