Latashia Figueroa
gives two good reasons for her love of horror: her childhood home was believed to be haunted and Stephen King often told her bedtime stories. Pet Semetarywas the first.
She began a career in New York City’s fast paced fashion industry, ignoring the voice in her head that whispered, Writer. Though the job
was exciting, it was not fulfilling, and when the opportunity arose she returned to her childhood love.
Latashia embraces her fascination of the dark and macabre through her writing. Her stories have been described as "psychological thrillers with a dash of horror."
She attends writing classes often, adores music, the outdoors, the arts, and yoga. She also has an obsession with heights and roller coasters.
She lives on the east coast with her very supportive husband.
Mark Cassell
lives in a rural part of the UK with his wife and a number of animals. He often dreams of dystopian futures, peculiar creatures, and flitting shadows. Primarily a horror writer, his Steampunk, Dark Fantasy, and SF stories have featured in numerous anthologies and ezines. His best-selling debut novel,
The Shadow Fabric
, is closely followed by the popular short story collection,
Sinister Stitches
, and are both only a fraction of an expanding mythos.
Briana Robertson
excels at taking the natural darkness of reality and bringing it to life on the page. Heavily influenced by her personal experience with depression, anxiety, and the chronic pain of fibromyalgia, Robertson’s dark fiction delves into the emotional and psychological experiences of characters in whom readers will recognize themselves. Her stories horrify while also tugging at heartstrings,
muddying the lines of black and white, and staining the genre in multiple shades of grey.
In 2016, Robertson joined the ranks of Stitched Smile Publications. Her solo anthology, “Reaper,” which explores the concept of death being both inevitable and non-discriminatory, debuted in early 2017. She also has stories included in “Unleashing the Voices Within,” by Stitched Smile Publications, “Man Behind the Mask,” by David Owain Hughes, Jonathan Ondrashek, and Veronica Smith, and “Collected Easter Horror Shorts” by Kevin Kennedy.
Robertson is the wife of one, mother of three, and unashamed lover of all things feline. She currently resides on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River, with a backyard view of the Saint Louis skyline, and is a member of the Saint Louis Writers Guild.

Steven Stacy
has always had a love for media of all kinds, especially horror. He finds his influences through his life experiences, his love of the horror and thriller genre, and his nostalgic view of media of all types. He finds joy in escapism and creating other worlds into which others can escape.
Swiss, Swedish and Dutch bloodlines run through Stacy’s blood, but he was brought up in the busy City of Cardiff, Wales. A keen rower and tennis player, Stacy thought his first career would be in singing, but writing always stayed with him. He has written since a child, filling his notebooks with stories and poems in school. He has written for numerous horror magazines, such as ‘Gorezone’ and ‘Scream’, and interviewed horror icons such as Robert Englund, Heather Langenkamp, Neve Campbell, Matthew Lillard, Dee Wallace, Wes Craven and Sigourney Weaver.
He also loves graphic novels, ‘Hush’ by Jim Lee and Jeph Loeb & ‘Selina’s Big Score’ by Ed Brubaker & Darwyn Cooke – he’s a huge fan of Catwoman, and has a treasure trove of Catwoman memorabilia, making him a true geek; working in a comic book shop for years never helped.
Steven graduated First Class Honors from Bath University in ‘English Literature & Creative English.’ His favourite writers include Stephen King, Kathleen Winsor, Oscar Wilde and Ira Levin. He is currently working on his first major novel. A huge fan of Cats, Stacy works
voluntarily with the ‘Cat’s Protection League’, and lives at home with his pet Bengal cat’s, Isis and Amber, and his snow Bengal, Marnie.

Kevin J. Kennedy
is a horror author and publisher from Scotland. He fell in love with the horror world at an early age watching shows like the Munster’s and Eerie Indiana before moving on to movies like the Lost Boys, the original The Hills Have Eyes and Nightmare on Elm Street. In his teens he became an avid reader when he found the work of Richard Laymon. This furthered his love of horror and introduced him to many of the authors you will find in this very book. At the age of thirty four Kevin wrote his first short story and it was accepted by Chuck Anderson of Alucard Press for the Fifty Shades of Slay anthology. He hasn’t stopped writing since. Look out for his new novella ‘You Only Get One Shot’ co-written with J.C. Michael.

Hidden in a remote location in California lives a man that responds to the name Peter Oliver Wonder
. Though little is known about him, several written works that may or may not be fictional have been found featuring a character of the same name.
Devilishly handsome, quick witted, and as charming as an asshole can be, Peter has come a long way since his time in the United States Marine Corps. Making friends wherever he goes, there is never a shortage of adventure when he is around.
The works that have been penned under this name are full of horror, romance, adventure, and comedy just as every life should be. It is assumed that these works are an attempt at a drug fueled autobiography of sorts. Through these texts, we can learn much about this incredible man.

By design, Lisa Vasquez
creates horror with vivid, dark, words and twisted images that not only drags the reader in between the pages, but onto the covers that house them. When she releases her grasp, readers are left alone to sort through the aftermath those images leave behind; each one becoming a seed rooting itself within the soft confines of their psyche.
Lisa takes this passion for writing horror and uses it to mentor other authors and volunteers as the Publisher's Liaison for the Horror Writers Association
.
She is the CEO of Stitched Smile Publications and owns her own book cover design company, Darque Halo Designs.
