Also called the Transvaal daisy, these big, bright flowers come from the hottest climates of Asia and Africa. Crowning the tops of their long stems, the blooms have perfect petals in holiday colors—white, yellow, red, orange—and in more delicate pastel shades.
Gerberas are pretty and strong. When cut, they may live three weeks in a vase with water.
