وهي أمّ السلطان محمود توفّي أبوه وهو صغير فولي١ المُلك بعده بتدبير أمّه وكان معها عشرة آلاف مملوك تركيّ دبّرت الملك وقادت الجيوش إلى أن توفّيت في شهر رمضان من سنة سبع وثمانين وأربعمائة ولـمّا ماتت انحلّ أمر ابنها محمود بموتها وتعقّب ذلك موته في شوّال من السنة المذكورة.
١ ج: فوُلّي.
She was the mother of Sultan Maḥmūd, whose father passed away while he was still a boy. He succeeded his father to the royal throne under the regency of his mother, who had in her service ten thousand Turkic slave soldiers. She directed the affairs of state and commanded the military until she passed away in the month of Ramadan, 487 [September, 1094]. When she died, Maḥmūd’s rule became untenable. His own death followed soon thereafter, in the month of Shawwal of the same year [October, 1094].114
