Grilled Baby Back Ribs

A lot of people are intimidated by cooking ribs. It does take a little work to master, but boy is it worth it when you do.

ΒΌ cup paprika

2 teaspoons onion powder

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 tablespoon salt

1 teaspoon red cayenne pepper

2 teaspoons black pepper

4 to 6 pounds baby back ribs

Barbecue sauce

In a small bowl mix the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Rub the mixture over the ribs, coating evenly. Grill over indirect heat for 5 to 6 hours, turning every 30 minutes. Be sure to keep the lid on the grill. If you are using charcoal you will need to add more charcoal during the cooking process. Baste with your favorite barbecue sauce during the last 15 minutes of cooking.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Note: A good hostess knows to take along some wet naps too, especially when you are eating these ribs outdoors.
