Acknowledgments

First of all, I’d like to thank the Weald & Downland Living Museum in Chichester for teaching me all about life in Tudor England. We had a lovely time sloshing around the place in our Wellies on a drizzly September day. I learned more in that one day than in months and months of book research.

A huge thanks to my beta readers, especially Tiffany, who sloshed with me at the museum and made our trip amazing, and Michelle, who gave me all the feedback she could until her toddler started screaming.

I also need to thank my editor, Samantha Millburn. I foolishly think I have a grasp of the English language until I get my edits from her and see I’ve put every comma in the wrong place. I apologize for all the headaches I’ve caused. And thanks to the whole Covenant team for making my stories so lovely; you are talented and wonderful people.

As always, I end with the most important: my husband and my children. They really do put up with a lot while I’m racing to get my books done on time. I love you all.
