Dear Samantha,

My mother gave me your email address. I hope you don’t mind.

I just wanted to say hello, see how you were, make sure you got home safely.

How is the weather there in Georgia?

I miss you,

Edo

Dear Samantha,

Have you ever replaced ceiling plaster that is over a hundred years old? It’s a nightmare. Please respond so I’ll have an excuse to walk away from it for a while.

I miss you,

Edo

Dear Samantha,

I’m not trying to be a pest, I promise. But can we at least be friends? I feel like both of us could use more of those.

I miss you.

Dear Samantha,

I don’t know how you felt about your experience here. I hope you look back and are happy with your trip. I hope you will be able to tell people about your adventures without regrets.

I’ve attached some pictures you might like. I got the statue back today. It’s so heavy! Your fingerprint still shows on top, even in the bronze. You left your mark here. In a lot of ways.

I promised myself I wouldn’t pester you, so if I don’t hear back, this will be my last email.

I miss you.

Love,

Edo
