So much of what goes into a book is drawn from the research of locations. In this instance I was fortunate enough to be in the very beautiful and dramatic environs of Lynton and Lynmouth in North Devon. While there I met Betty and Dave Wilde, whom I can’t thank enough for giving me so much color and detail about the area. I hope I have done their invaluable input the justice it deserves.
I would also like to thank my wonderful agent Luigi Bonomi for such an amazing and uplifting reaction to this book. It made me dance with joy.
