#167 COMBAT BOREDOM WITH A CHANGE

Routine can help keep you on track, but when it comes to food, it also has the potential to get boring. If you’re starting to get bored with your food, or you’ve been on a keto diet for a while and you’re finding it more difficult to stick with it because you just want something different, try switching things up a bit. Explore new recipes online. Use keto-friendly ingredients that you’ve never used before. Change up your proteins and try a new vegetable.

You don’t have to make things complicated or follow intricate recipes but making small changes to your daily meals and/or snacks can help shake things up a little bit so you don’t feel like you’re getting into a food rut. Make it a point to try something new every week. Learn new ways to cook your favorites. For example, if you typically steam your broccoli, try roasting it with olive oil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes. If you usually bake your chicken, try slow cooking it or throw it on the grill instead.
