I love to serve this appetizer for just about any occasion. Here’s why: It’s thick, yet creamy enough to spread. It has simple ingredients with bold flavors, and the sun-dried tomatoes make it stand out from other dips.

START TO FINISH: 10 MIN. • MAKES: 2 CUPS
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and patted dry
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
2 green onions, sliced
Assorted crackers and/or fresh vegetables
Place the first seven ingredients in a food processor; cover and process until blended. Add green onions; cover and pulse until finely chopped. Serve with crackers and/or vegetables.
TOP TIP
When serving dip on a hot day, it’s important to keep it cool. It’s easy to create a chilling bowl for dips. Fill a large glass or plastic serving bowl with ice cubes, crushed ice or ice packs. Fill a smaller bowl with dip and set on top of the ice. Replace the ice as it melts.
