About the Author

Betsy Randolph worked in radio broadcasting for several years in four states before settling in Oklahoma. She received an Associate’s degree in Journalism from Northern Oklahoma College, where she wrote for the College paper “The Maverick.” Betsy also obtained an Associate’s degree in Horticulture from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University. Betsy served twelve years in the U. S. Army Reserves—military police and drill sergeant. She’s worked as a police officer and is currently an Oklahoma State trooper. She is a member of the Red Dirt Writer’s Society and the Oklahoma Writer’s Federation. She lives in Guthrie, Oklahoma, with her husband and son.
