Causes of Stress
There is a difference between experiencing stress, and being stressed. When a traumatic situation arises, we experience stress. Once the situation is resolved, we in time return to our normal state of being. Some people are exposed to too many of these situations, thus they are constantly stressed, and now become stressed out.
This is where our society is heading, our lives is being filled with stress. Each year it grows, and this is extremely unhealthy. There are multitudes of medications on the market for coping with stress. Billions are spent yearly on coping with the symptoms only, as millions of people from all walks of life, are placed on some or other ‘stress’ medication.
Why do we stress? Is it from too much pressure we place ourselves under, or pressure that society places on each individual? With the changing times over the last hundred years or so, why do so many people suffer from stress? Should our advancements not have brought less stress?

We all strive for a peaceful life. We make every effort to have a set routine. Just like with your kids, you have a routine. If there is disruption they act out. This is not them being naughty, it is stress! Routines provide a feeling of safety, security and that is all one wants in life.
