Volunteer to work at a soup kitchen, just for one day. Visit the elderly or the sick.
This not only helps you, but them as well. It is always nice to talk to someone or see a smiling face.
This way you do something nice for a stranger, they are happy and you will also feel better.
It is also proven that interaction with strangers can aid in decreasing stress.
