Tricia Martineau Wagner, a North Carolina author and presenter, is a well-versed and entertaining speaker who brings history to life. She is the author of It Happened on the Oregon Trail, Black Cowboys of the Old West, and African American Women of the Old West. Ms. Wagner enjoys speaking at conferences and conducting hands-on, living-history presentations for schools around the country on the topics pertaining to her books. She is an experienced elementary school teacher, reading specialist, and independent research historian.
