The Hungarian sour cream cucumber salad is another most popular salad in Hungarian Cuisine, and it has this great taste from the special mix of paprika and cucumber.
Ingredients (4 servings)
2 cucumbers, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon water
1 garlic clove, minced
1 small onion, sliced
¼ teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon Hungarian Red Paprika (sweet)
¼ teaspoons Hungarian Red Paprika (hot)
½ teaspoons sugar
¼ cup sour cream, full fat
Preparation
Whisk the sour cream with sugar, water, vinegar, salt, and black pepper in a salad bowl. Stir in the cucumber and rest of the ingredients, and then mix well. Serve.
