Hungarian Short Ribs

Enjoy these Hungarian short ribs recipe with mixed tomato flavors. Adding cream or sour cream on top provides a very strong taste to the ribs.
Ingredients (8 servings)
2 tablespoons canola oil
4 pounds bone-in beef short ribs
2 onions, sliced
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 cup of water
¼ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup vinegar
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 ½ teaspoons ground mustard
1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon paprika
Cooked wide egg noodles
Preparation
Sear the ribs with oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat until brown from both sides. Stir in the onions, then sauté until soft. Stir in the tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika in a saucepan. Put on the lid and continue cooking for about 2 ½ hours. Serve warm with paprika.
