Here’s a delicious and savory combination of carrots, potatoes, and noodles that you must add to your menu.
Ingredients (6 servings)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons Hungarian sweet paprika
8 ounces textured vegetable protein
1 green bell pepper, chopped
5 cups vegetable broth
4 large potatoes, diced
2 large carrots, diced
1 tomato, chopped
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 packet egg noodles
Preparations
Sauté the onions with oil in a skillet over medium heat until soft. Stir in green pepper, vegetable protein, and paprika, and then mix well. Stir in the broth, tomato, black pepper, ½ teaspoons salt, parsley, carrots, and potatoes, and then cook it to a boil. Cover and cook on medium heat until the potatoes are soft. Add the noodles to the soup and cook until noodles are soft. Serve warm.
