JACK KELLY IS THE author of five novels. The New York Times praised his most recent book, Mobtown, as “adrenaline in words.” He has written numerous articles on history and technology and is a regular contributor to American Heritage Magazine. He is a member of the Pyrotechnic Guild International. He lives in the Hudson Valley region of New York state, a few miles from the site of New York’s first gunpowder mill.
