1 When the heavens will cleave asunder 2 and when the planets will disperse 3 and when the seas will explode 4 and when the graves will be strewn around, 5 every soul will know what it has advanced and what it has delayed. 6 O you the human, what makes you proud against your generous lord? 7 Who created you, so he molded you, so he shaped you in the right form. 8 In whichever form he willed, he put you together. 9 Certainly not, yet you denied by the judgment day. 10 And surely we are keepers over you, 11 generous writers. 12 They know what you are doing. 13 Surely the righteous are in bliss. 14 And surely the wicked are in hell. 15 They will roast in it on the judgment day, 16 and they will never be absent from it. 17 And what do you know, what is the judgment day? 18 Then, what do you know, what is the judgment day? 19 A day no soul will have anything for another soul, and the affair on that day will be to Allah.
