Sink Into Savasana
How does it help?
Savasana, or Corpse Pose, is the pose of total relaxation. Once you enter such a state, it’s a deeply healing form of self-care. Sink into deep relaxation by consuming CBD before trying this yoga pose.
How to:
- Consume a CBD tincture, then roll out your yoga mat.
- Sit upright on the mat with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent. Slowly lean back onto your forearms. Inhale as you extend your right leg and then your left, pushing through your heels. Keep your legs loosely lined up with your hips. Let your feet turn out.
- Slowly, vertebra by vertebra, unroll your spine until your head and back are gently resting on the mat. Let your arms extend outward by your side. Close your eyes.
- Notice the earthy taste of the CBD under your tongue. Stay in Savasana for at least 10 minutes. Concentrate on your inhales and exhales, and surrender.
- When you’re ready, exit the pose by slowly rolling over to your right side and gently pushing yourself back up to a seated position.
