Care for Your Hair

How does it help?

Not only does caring for your scalp and hair make you feel more comfortable, it makes you feel fabulous. When you look good you feel good! CBD can help enhance this self-care exercise because it is full of fatty acids that nourish your hair, and the cannabinoid’s anti-inflammatory properties treat dandruff, eczema, and itchy scalps.

How to:

  1. Squeeze your shampoo in your hand, then mix 2–3 drops CBD oil directly into the shampoo.
  2. Wash your hair. Be sure to spend time gently massaging your scalp to enhance blood flow and stimulate new hair growth while strengthening your current locks. (See “Give Yourself a Scalp Massage.”)
  3. Rinse out the shampoo, then condition as usual. While the conditioner sits, enjoy the steam from the hot water. Steam clears out your sinuses to prevent colds, clears up your skin, and even burns calories. It can also help you feel great and relaxed as you practice self-care.
  4. When you’re done, rinse out your conditioner, then continue your day or night as usual, knowing that you’ve taken some time to care for yourself.
