Sleep In
How does it help?
While it’s nice to get up early, it’s also nice to sleep in when you can. Catching up on sleep is associated with better memory, less inflammation (CBD is an anti-inflammatory too!), better heart health, and lower stress. Fortunately, CBD is a known insomnia treatment and can help you luxuriously sleep in on the weekends to recharge.
How to:
- Stress and racing thoughts may be keeping you awake. Let CBD ease your worries by taking 25–1,500 milligrams before bedtime. If ingesting orally, take 1–2 hours before bedtime. If using a tincture, take it 30 minutes to 1 hour before bed.
- Turn off your alarm clock. Put your phone on sleep mode. Put fresh sheets on your bed, and consider an eye mask and ear plugs. White noise machines can also help keep you sound asleep.
- Keep CBD near your bed to take if you wake up in the middle of the night or too early. It will help you fall back asleep.
- Sleep in and do not feel guilty about it. Revel in this self-care activity and wake up refreshed.
