Do a Body Scan for Spiritual Self-Care

How does it help?

Your spirit is your truest form, so emotional pain can manifest as what feels like a dark cloud in your chest or a throat that feels blocked. Practice self-care by taking time to be fully present in your body and observe where you need to send yourself extra self-love and care. CBD can help you shed any worries or anxiety and will allow you to fully inhabit your body as you scan for spiritual pain.

How to:

  1. Consume some CBD using a tincture. Lay out a blanket or yoga mat and gently lie down on your back.
  2. Close your eyes. Feel the CBD melting under your tongue. Take a series of deep inhales and exhales.
  3. Start at your feet. How do they feel? Wiggle your toes. Continue to breathe. Tell each part of your body that you love it. Thank your feet for carrying you around all day long.
  4. Mentally, slowly move up your body. Use visualization skills to notice areas that feel blocked or hurt. For instance, if you are anxious, your chest may feel like a tight black knot. When you feel this, place your hands on the area. Visualize yourself sending healthy, pure light to the area to heal it. You are going to be okay. Let the loving energy heal the spiritual cracks or hurt you feel.
  5. Move all the way up to your scalp. When you are finished, take some time to rest. If any areas of your body feel sore, gently rub some CBD topical onto them.
