Soothe a Short Fuse

How does it help?

A short fuse can be a sign of exhaustion—and a sign that you’re not spending enough time practicing self-care. Fortunately, CBD can help you both self-soothe and get a good night’s rest so you can wake up and treat others the way you’d want them to treat you.

How to:

  1. Check in with yourself. Are you tired? Hungry? Make sure your basic needs are being met. Take some CBD.
  2. As you feel the CBD start to take hold, get into bed and get a good night’s sleep. Then wake up and eat a healthy breakfast.
  3. Take some quiet time to check in with yourself. Are you still snapping? If so, ask yourself when it started. Was there a particular incident? Are you still upset about it? If that’s the case, have a calm yet assertive conversation with the other person in question to work things out or make needed changes.
  4. Apologize to the people you snapped at. Make amends when needed. Keep CBD around to help you practice self-care when you feel stress build in the future.
