Read every book that you can get your hands on about runes, even the ones that have ideas with which you might disagree. Reach out to try to find runemasters and runeologists in your area. In the Seattle area, we’re blessed with a Nordic Heritage Museum that can be visited to learn more about the culture and history of ancient people who used runes. If you’re lucky, you might even find workshops about runes being taught at metaphysical bookstores or other venues near you. Find local fortune-tellers and ask if you can buy a rune reading. I often learn so much more about being a better fortune-teller by watching how others perform readings.
Most of all, please keep practicing with your runes in order to keep their meanings fresh in your mind and their use as a divinatory tool relevant in your life. Perhaps you will be the next person to develop an innovative runecast or system of runes. You’re already the world’s leading expert on your own mind, and you have special gifts to share with the world.
