ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Much like putting on a show, writing an autobiography takes many people working away behind the scenes, without whom it simply could not happen.

So thank you to my team – PK, Tiffany, Christine, Sadie, Dean, Mykey O, Hamilton, Benny D, Shoshanna and Ben; to my bandmates, Roy and Mikey; to Lili and Charli; to my friends and all of my fans; to Spencer, my co-writer, and to Bonnier, my publishers.

I feel very fortunate to have some wonderful people in my life, far too many to name here. You know who you are!

Love, G x

Spencer Bright is the co-writer of Karma. He also co-wrote Boy George’s first autobiography, Take It Like a Man. He worked in Fleet Street for many years writing for multiple publications, notably as a staff writer on the Evening Standard and feature writer and rock critic for the Daily Mail. He is the author of books on music, Soho and the Holocaust.

Bright’s acknowledgments are: to Theresa McLoughlin for riding to childcare rescue; my transcribers Hilary Bright and Sue Banks, and also Hilary for holding the fort; Georgina Bright for life support and techno rescue; my editor, Ciara Lloyd for her guidance and all-hours unflappability; Tiffany Austin for her calming presence and keeping the dots joined up; and to my everything, Gráinne, and darling sons, Dáithí and Fionn.
