The financial controller may need to restrict posted transactions to the financial dimension to be posted from sub-ledgers, and prevent posting manual entries to it. This is the same concept that we discussed in main accounts controls. In the course of the transaction, if an end user selects the financial dimension, the system will throw an error message indicating that the selected financial dimension is not allowed for manual entry.
