Kristin O’Connor has made it her life’s work to create food that is irresistibly tasty and healthy, a combination she hopes will inspire people to love good, healthy food and encourage them to make it a lifelong habit. In doing so, she created NourishThis.com—a website with recipes, articles, and tips on eating well and living green; volunteers for Healthy Child, Healthy World—a nonprofit that educates parents about nutritional and environmental issues affecting their children; and presented at the Kids Food Festival in New York City. She has worked for a Food Network and Cooking Channel production company as an associate producer on many of their shows, was an above-the-line catering chef for a lead actor on a major motion picture, and is now working as a private celebrity chef. Kristin continues to volunteer for nonprofit organizations that promote a healthy diet and environment, and hopes to continue her career as a cookbook author in the future.
