About The Producers

BRET SMITH retired from IBM after thirty-four years as a program manager. He’s a lifelong Star Trek fan and loves all things pop culture. He met his wife JEANNI SMITH on a blind date while she was attending the University of Arizona for her BFA. They’ve been happily married for over thirty years, attending conventions together since the 80s—their most beloved decade—including over fourteen San Diego Comic-Cons. They raised two artistic sons, Xander—a successful Hollywood artist, and Cameron—a multi-talented musician. Today, when Jeanni isn’t busy working as an antiques dealer, she and Bret are focused on their responsibilities as co-founders of the Colorado Festival of Horror, which features the passion project you’re holding in your hands now.
