Abigail
Suspension is over! YES! It’s been a long week. I’m actually kind of glad to be back into a normal routine. I’ve spent lunch every day with Clayton and every evening with Vic, who showed up Monday with dinner and a movie. After the movie, I made him leave. Every day last week consisted of the same thing. I feel like a freaking ping pong ball.
Walking into school this morning, I’m more than a little nervous about what’s going to happen. I haven’t mentioned to either of them that I’m seeing both. How do I even go about saying something like that?
Wayde and Adam have already made it clear that they are Team Clayton. Fred says he’s team whatever makes me happy, but I really think he is Team Vic. Whereas I’m Team Abigail. I just want to be happy and what makes me happy is spending time with both of them.
Third period rolls around, and I walk into math with Mrs. Franco. I tuck myself in between Wayde and Adam while checking out my surroundings. I can feel this almost doomed fate in my gut. Could be the fact that I know I will be seeing both Vic and Clayton in about forty-five minutes. Both are very much still friend zoned, but they are both still seeing me as more.
“Abi, will you chill? I can feel your tension and it’s freaking me out,” Adam chides.
“Yeah, Abi, you will be fine. We will be there the entire time,” Wayde tries too sound reassuring. Tries.
“You two are no help with your ‘Team Clayton,’ bullshit. What about Team Abigail? I just need someone on my side that isn’t trying to get in my pants.”
Standing up, I ask for a hall pass. I can’t do this right now. I’m sick to my stomach and just want this over with. Mrs. Franco gives me the hall pass and I automatically take my shit to the garden. I need music. Music will help me through this mess.
