Napa Cabbage with Sesame

Napa cabbage, also called Chinese cabbage, is wonderful cooked or served raw in salads.

Ingredients

Serves 4

2 tablespoons sesame oil

2 tablespoons canola or other light oil

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

112 pounds napa cabbage, thinly sliced

Juice of 12 lemon

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and ground black pepper, to taste

Gluten-free soy sauce, to taste

  1. Heat oils on medium-high in a hot wok or frying pan. Add sesame seeds and toast for 2 minutes.
  2. Stir in cabbage, lemon juice, and garlic. Toss until just wilted, about 4 minutes. Add salt, pepper, and soy sauce, and serve.
