Ginger and Apple Cleansing Smoothie

Ginger makes a star-studded appearance as a lightly spicy and aromatic addition in this smoothie that is loaded with fiber from the spinach and apples.

1 cup fresh spinach

3 medium apples, peeled and cored

12" piece fresh gingerroot, peeled

2 cups filtered water, divided

The Importance of Fiber

  1. Combine spinach, apples, ginger, and 1 cup water in a blender and blend until thoroughly combined.
  2. Add remaining water while blending until desired texture is achieved.
