My husband, Cedric, came up trumps and spent many hours patiently waiting outside toy and baking supply stores. He tirelessly helped with my props and contributed much to this project. My ‘technical advisers’, Nicholas Latimer and Amy Dodd, provided much valued input. We spent many happy hours in our ‘design studio’ mulling over ideas. Amy was a real asset in the kitchen too as she ably assisted with the cake decorating, managing the tasks delegated to her with aplomb!
My dear friend Kirsten Roets advised with the beading designs and instructions. The many hours spent in bead shops and the subsequent afternoons devoted to transforming fishing line into artworks are much appreciated.
