MITCHELL YOCKELSON IS an Investigative Archivist at the National Archives and Records Administration and an instructor of history at the United States Naval Academy and Norwich University. He received his undergraduate degree from Frostburg State University, a Masters degree from George Mason University and a Doctorate from the Royal Military College of Science, Cranfield University. He has authored numerous articles and book reviews on various aspects of military history and is a frequent media consultant. His first book, Borrowed Soldiers: Americans Under British Command, 1918, was published in 2008, and in 2011 Thomas Nelson published his MacArthur: America’s General, also part of the General’s Series.
