“What will you do if you can’t find him in time Dante? What will happen to you? What will happen to him?”
“I haven’t allowed myself to think about it, which is one reason I wanted to come here. I always think better here.”
“Your mom; you feel closer to her and your brother here. Makes sense that answers would come easier.”
Dante turned his head to look at me.
“You don’t have to be a shrink to figure that out,” I said at his inquisitive look. “You could have told me all this back in San Diego. Why did you bring me here?”
