On Tuesday, Rose unlocked the mikvah to prepare for the men.
Benny used to stand guard until she finished preparing, and made sure every man left before she went in to clean up.
But now, she was on her own.
She taped a cardboard sign to the door alerting any early birds to wait, and started her ritual.
When she was done, she removed the sign.
Later, she’d be waiting outside asking each man exiting if he was the last before entering to clean up.
She fantasized about being in there alone with them, but if even one reported her, she could be fired.
Instead of living out her real fantasy she had a safer way to satisfy herself.
During her marriage to Muttle she was forced to keep her unquenched yearnings bottled up until she discovered a way to release her urges every morning.
She needed relief every day, and today was no exception.
She scurried back to the residence, locked the door, and climbed into the attic.
She confidently crawled to what used to be her secret spot—where Jake Cooper found the camera. He assumed Muttle put it there to satisfy himself, but Muttle wasn’t even aware of that spot.
She told Benny about it. That’s when he got the idea to profit from it.
But even Benny didn’t know her real secret.
Most of the mikvah men repulsed her.
But some were worth the wait.
She reached the perfect vantage point, and waited for one of her favorites to disrobe.
