JOAN PRICE (www.joanprice.com) calls herself an “advocate for ageless sexuality.” Joan has been writing, speaking, and blogging about senior sex since 2005. Formerly a health and fitness writer (and before that, a high school English teacher!), she switched topics to senior sex with her spicy memoir, Better Than I Ever Expected: Straight Talk about Sex After Sixty, written to celebrate the joys of older-age sexuality with her lover and future husband, artist Robert Rice (www.robertriceart.com), whom she met when she was fifty-seven and he was sixty-four.

After hundreds of readers wrote Joan with questions and concerns about their own senior sex life, she wrote Naked at Our Age: Talking Out Loud about Senior Sex, to address the challenges of sex and aging. Naked at Our Age was chosen Outstanding Self-Help Book 2012 from the American Society of Journalists and Authors and 2012 Book Award from American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. In 2013, Joan conceived and edited the steamy anthology, Ageless Erotica. In 2014, she received the Catalyst award for “inspiring exceptional conversations in sexuality.”

Although Robert died in 2008, Joan continues on her mission to change society’s view of senior sex, one mind at a time. Her blog about sex and aging, www.NakedAtOurAge.com, has received numerous awards from health, aging, and sexuality sites. As a speaker, Joan delights and informs boomer and senior audiences with her helpful, candid, content-packed presentations. She also offers personalized, educational consultations by phone and Skype.

Joan lives in Sebastopol, California, where she also teaches contemporary line dancing, which she calls “the most fun you can have with both feet on the floor.” Contact her at joan@joanprice.com.
