As always, all thanks to my Father in Heaven who fills my heart with words. If there is any good thing written here, the glory is His. I’ll take the blame for any mistakes.

Writing a book is very much like raising a child. There are moments of worry, moments of joy, moments when the child out grows the parent, and moments of heartache when you are sure that the dream you had at your child’s “birth” will never be fulfilled. Then comes that moment when it all falls into place and you whisper a heartfelt prayer of gratitude as your “baby” takes its place in the world.

And if raising a child takes a village, so does writing a book. I am forever grateful to the village God has surrounded me with. My critique partner Marian Merritt, my editor Robin Patchen, my cover designer Lacy Williams, and proof readers Judy Devries and Elizabeth Lopez. You take my ideas and you polish them until they shine. Thank you isn’t enough.

I am also surrounded by a tribe of brainstormers, writing friends, and prayer warriors. Your support is beyond value. I hope you know that I couldn’t do this without you!
