The Story So Far...
After being attacked by Keepers and running for their lives, Layla and Olyvia found themselves face-to-face with a mystery of who Layla was and why everyone wanted to kill her. Knowing her old friend could help, Olyvia conscripts Rod to get Layla’s bounty removed and to figure out the mystery behind Layla’s bloodline and magical sword.
After deciphering the sword and following the clue left hidden on the blade, the trio find their way to an underground smithy which reveals pertinent information as to Layla’s true identity – which rests in another world in another universe – and answers the question as to why everyone’s after her. Including another shape-shifter by the name of Afanasiy.
With this new information, Olyvia sets a plan in motion to stall pursuers from finding Layla. After a successful feint attack on the killer’s base wounds him and leaves Olyvia winded, the trio retreat back to the smithy to regroup and recover.
