HUGH LESSIG spent 37 years as a newspaperman, a career that took him to Haiti after its devastating earthquake and into Ukraine while that country was under martial law. He has won news-writing awards in Pennsylvania and Virginia. His short fiction has appeared in Thuglit, Needle, Crime Factory, Switchblade, Shotgun Honey and the anthology Mickey Finn: 21st Century Noir. He lives in the Tidewater area of Virginia.
