The quick guide to some popular dog breeds
Anyone who knows me, would also know I love dogs! This is a quick read reference guide to 50 popular dog breeds, which also has some excellent photos to help you recognise the breeds if you see them. From this book you can then go on elsewhere to learn more about these many and varied dog breeds which people have welcomed to live with us in our homes, all across the world.
I have also included a small selection of photos of a few of the dogs who I have been fortunate to have shared time on this earth with. To me they are part of my family, and like children to me. Not always a poplar view by some non-dog lovers I know, but to those of us who love dogs, they will know exactly what I mean. I apologise for the quality of some of these images, as some are pre-digital age scans of older photos.
This book is dedicated to all my dogs who over the years have lived with my family, but especially to Herbert, who was my doggy companion for many years, and is also the father of several of my other dogs.
