Hip-Hip Hooray Hot Dog Sauce

Makes 4 to 6 servings

1 lb. ground beef

1/4 c. onion, chopped

1/8 c. green pepper, chopped

1 c. catsup

1/4 t. salt

1/4 t. pepper

1/4 t. garlic powder

1/4 t. chili powder

1/8 t. cinnamon

1/8 t. red pepper flakes

6 hot dogs

6 hot dog buns, split

Combine beef, onion and green pepper in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until beef is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients; simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Grill hot dogs as desired; place in buns and top with warm sauce.
