THE TENTH BIG LIE:
“There is no hope for me.”
Healing is God’s choice, and the timing of that
choice and the method of the healing are His too.
“The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy;
I came that they might have life, and
might have it abundantly” (John 10:10 NASB).
Too often just before the evidence of God’s work shows up,
the person has already given up. Don’t let that be you.
“In all things God works for the good of those who
love him, who have been called according to his
purpose” (Rom. 8:28 NIV).
As C. S. Lewis said, “Pain is at times God’s megaphone to
get through to us when other ways would do no good.”
God lays a dark background and then just when it can be
made no darker, there is a stroke of light. A brush stroke of
gold or silver covers the darkness and brings glory to God.
Turn your life over to God. Surrender to His power.
Lie back into His arms and you will experience hope.
