Jaclyn McClain is a Michigan resident living in the metro Detroit area with her husband, Ben, and their two young children, Matthew and Katie. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a lifelong love of books and writing. As a fan of police procedurals, she developed an interest in the lives of homicide detectives, which inspired her to write this book.
