Heat
the
olive
oil
in
a
large
saucepan
and
sauté
the
minced
garlic
until
it
is
soft.
Stir
in
the
onion
and
tomatoes.
When
the
onion
is
soft,
add
the
whipping
cream,
1
/
4
cup
of
the
Alfredo
Sauce
and
the
Asiago
cheese.
Stir
until
the
cheese
is
melted.
Add
the
remaining
salt,
pepper,
and
granulated
garlic.
Stir
until
blended,
then
add
the
cooked
bacon.
5. Toss the cooked pasta with 2 cups of the Alfredo Sauce. Stir in the vegetable mixture and toss to just combine. Add the cooked chicken pieces and stir until all the ingredients are covered with the sauce and the chicken is warmed through.
Serves 2 to 4
Add a little extra bacon flavor to the vegetable mixture. Instead ofs autéing the
vegetables in olive oil, fry the diced bacon in the saucepan. When most of the fat
has been rendered, add the garlic and continue with the rest of the recipe.
